Mugen Interactive, an up-and-coming blockchain gaming studio, has launched its first game, Legend of Arcadia (LOA), on the Sui Network. This marks the studio's entry into the burgeoning GameFi (gaming finance) industry. The launch was made possible through a partnership with Mysten Labs, a web3 infrastructure company and an initial contributor to the Sui Network.
LOA is a multi-chain, free-to-play, and play-to-earn casual strategy card game. It has already made waves within the Sui GameFi ecosystem, with over 6,000 members from more than 40 guilds and 50 communities participating in the initial alpha test and guild tournament.
The success of LOA can be attributed to the strategic design, focusing on user engagement, community-driven growth, and value creation offered by the protocol for gamers on Sui.
This partnership with Mysten Labs is ushering in the next wave of GameFi 2.0, where the focus is on content-first and social-first web3 gaming concepts. In addition to this, a new community-driven guild "Alter Ego Guild" was founded within the LOA community during the alpha test.
The launch of LOA marks a significant step for Mugen Interactive in revolutionizing the blockchain gaming industry by prioritizing content and social elements. The gaming studio has more titles in the pipeline, including SLG and open-world exploration games, as it continues to redefine the gaming experience for players in the web3 space.
