Oracle Red Bull Racing, after recently adopting Sui as its official blockchain partner, is taking fan engagement to the next level with the introduction of next-generation blockchain technology. Today, the team joins forces with Mysten Labs to announce the launch of the Oracle Red Bull Racing Validator on the Sui blockchain. Mysten Labs, the initial contributor to Sui, will manage and operate the validator.
Blockchains, unlike traditional databases controlled by a single authority, are decentralized databases. Public blockchains rely on a network of machines called 'validators' to determine which data is added, updated, or removed from storage. The ORBR Validator, like other validators on the network, will participate in the consensus process to ensure the integrity of the blockchain and bolster the Sui protocol.

The launch of the ORBR Validator follows Oracle Red Bull Racing's selection of Sui as its Official Blockchain Partner in June 2023, as part of a multi-year partnership with Mysten Labs to build on Sui.
